New perspective for charging infrastructure: ASTAG Charge goes live

With the contract signing at the kick-off event, ASTAG Charge is officially live. The article features pilot participants like Roland Stuber (F. Stuber Transporte AG) sharing hands-on insights in short video interviews – around 20 pilot companies with 260 electric trucks are already on board.

This number clearly shows that the industry is moving and has confidence in this project. ASTAG Charge is no longer a theoretical concept — it is already lived practice.

ASTAG Charge: Charging together – moving forward simply

Background: the concept behind ASTAG Charge.

Companies are building a growing stock of their own charging infrastructure at depot sites. This tension — rising demand for charging on one side, unused capacity on the other — is the starting point for ASTAG Charge.

ASTAG Charge: Charging within the network

Kickoff: idea, partner and next steps.

The ASTAG Charge app is not meant to be a complicated system but a practical, day-to-day tool for transport operators. Together with partner OGIL, ASTAG is currently mapping which charging points already exist among members, where the concrete demand lies and how strong the interest is in a shared solution. This feedback is decisive so the app can be built in a targeted way — to work in real operations.
