Roles and permissions
The role determines what a person is allowed to do in your organisation. You assign it when you send the invitation and can change it at any time afterwards.
1.Roles in the app
In the member list and in the invitation form, you can choose between the roles Admin and Member.
| Role | Permitted |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything. Admins see all content, create and edit it, and accept and terminate agreements. They also invite and remove members. |
| Member | View only. Members see sites, fleets, vehicles, agreements and charging sessions, but cannot change anything or conclude an agreement. |
The following diagram shows the two roles in interplay with your drivers.
Admin and Member each have an account in your organisation. Drivers, by contrast, are not a third role, as they have neither an account nor a profile.
They scan the QR code on the vehicle or log in and are thus assigned to the vehicle.
2.Note
Depot operator and Fleet manager are not roles but areas in the sidebar. Both roles see all areas, but only Admins can make changes.
Your drivers need neither a role nor an account, only the web app and the respective app login link.
