Breakdown of charging costs

The charging costs are made up of the depot operator's price and an ASTAG charge service fee, both of which are charged per kWh. You can see how these costs break down for an individual charging session in its details.

6.Note

The operator's price is their net revenue. The service fee is CHF 0.025 per kWh for ASTAG members and CHF 0.04 per kWh for non-members who charge at Swiss sites.

It is charged to the fleet on top and is therefore not deducted from the operator's revenue. It corresponds exactly to the difference between Net energy costs and Total net costs.

There are currently no discounts for committed volumes.

As a member of the ASTAG charge community, you therefore benefit twice, because the reduced service fee is joined by the community tariffs that depot operators can offer to the fleets of the community. You can see which price applied to a charging session in the details under the associated agreement and tariff.

All prices are exclusive of VAT, with the tax rate and currency determined by the country of the site. Revenue is always stated net and does not include the service fee.

Regular charging sessions are automatically recorded as billable. With Reporting only, by contrast, a charging session is only reported and not billed, for example when a fleet charges at its own depot.

If no price is shown for a charging session, it is either still being processed or valid tariff data was missing at the time of charging. In the second case, please contact support.
