Enter the VAT ID number

1.Prerequisites

You have the Admin role, and your organisation has at least one company. To find out how to create a company, read Adjust the organisation structure.

2.Step by step

  1. 1.
    Click Organisation settings at the bottom of the sidebar and open the Companies tab.
  2. 2.
    In the row of the relevant company, click the pencil icon in the Actions column to open the Edit company form.
  3. 3.
    Under VAT ID number, enter your number.
  4. 4.
    Finally, click Save.

3.Result

The VAT ID number is saved and appears next to the company in the list on the Companies tab.

4.Note

The Country of the company cannot be changed by you after it has been created. If the wrong country is stored, support will help you, or you can delete the company and create it again.

The VAT ID number of the country where your sites are located is always the one entered. If you operate sites in a different country from that of your company, you need a separate company there; read more in Registration.
