Overview of areas and roles
ASTAG Charge is divided into two areas. The area determines which functions you see in the sidebar, while a person's role determines what they may do there.
Here is an overview of both.

2.Switch area
- 1.At the top of the sidebar, you will find the toggle with Depot operator and Fleet manager.
- 2.Click the area you want to switch to.
The active area is highlighted in green, so you can see where you are at any time.
3.Always visible
Regardless of which area you are currently working in, you will always find Organisation settings and Support at the bottom of the sidebar.
4.Roles
ASTAG Charge has two roles. An Admin can view and change everything, while a Member can view everything but change nothing.
Depot operator and Fleet manager, by contrast, are not roles but the two areas of the sidebar.
The following diagram shows the roles and your drivers in the organisation.
Admins and Members are people with an account. Drivers, by contrast, have no account and are not a role: they scan the QR code on the vehicle or log in, and open the Driver Web App in the browser of their mobile device.

An organisation can use both areas, and all members see both. To find out exactly what each role may do, read Roles and permissions.
