Request an agreement and view its status

For your fleet to be allowed to charge at a third-party site, you need an agreement with the depot operator.

1.Prerequisites

Without an agreement, your fleet cannot charge at third-party sites.

2.Step by step

  1. 1.
First, switch to Fleet manager at the top left and open Agreements in the sidebar.
  2. 2.
Then switch to the Agreement offers tab.

There you see the offers for your fleets with operator organisation, fleet, agreement name, tariffs, that is, the prices per kilowatt hour (kWh) of electricity, as well as creation date and status.

  3. 3.
Here you also see the status of agreement offers that you have already requested and that the depot operator still has to review.
  4. 4.
If the list is long, narrow down the offers by status using Filter so that you find what you are looking for faster.
  5. 5.
Then check the fleet, agreement name and tariffs in the row of the offer you want before you request it.
  6. 6.
Finally, click Offered in the Status column of the offer.

3.Result

The depot operator receives an email and sees your request in the portal, where they accept or reject it. You can see how far your request has progressed at any time in the Agreement offers tab.

4.Community offers

As a member of the ASTAG charge community, you also see offers under Agreement offers that depot operators have published specifically for the fleets of the community. These offers contain special prices for the community, the community tariffs, and you request them in exactly the same way as any other offer.

Community offers are not marked separately. At most, you can recognise them by the name the depot operator gives the agreement, for example “ASTAG internal agreement”.

A different name does not mean, however, that an offer is not exclusive to the community, as that is decided solely by the depot operator. The tariff the depot operator has set for the respective agreement always applies to your charging sessions.

In addition, a depot operator can also offer your fleet its own price bilaterally, which then appears as an offer for your fleet in the same list.

5.Note

The depot operator determines how requests are accepted with the so-called acceptance mode. With Immediate acceptance, your request is accepted immediately, so you can charge straight away.

With Approve requests, the depot operator reviews your request first and then accepts or rejects it. Until then, the request has the status Approval pending, and during this time you can still withdraw it.

Not every site shows an offer for all fleets. If an agreement applies only to selected fleets or the site has the status Planned, click Express interest in the site details on the map.

The depot operator then receives a notification and can add your fleet and approve it. If the offer applies to all fleets, on the other hand, click View agreement offer in the site details and then Accept agreement.

When you Express interest, describe as specifically as possible how you want to charge, for example intermediate charging during the day and with how many vehicles, because the depot operator decides on your request on this basis.
