Getting started for depot operators

In five steps, we guide you through the setup so that fleets can charge at your site. Allow some time for the technical integration of the charging stations, which usually takes 1 to 2 weeks.

1.Prerequisites

If you do not have an account yet, please register first. You can find out how in Registration.

2.Step by step

  1. 1.
First, create your site under Sites.

To find out how, read Create a site.

  2. 2.
Next, connect the charging points by adding them and linking your charging stations to ASTAG charge.

You do not need new stations for this.

To find out how the connection works, read Manage charging points and connectors.

  3. 3.
Then set your price under Tariffs; one price per kWh is usually enough.

To find out how to create a tariff, read Manage prices and tariffs.

  4. 4.
Then publish an agreement offer in which you define which fleets may charge at which tariff.

With the Community fleets option, you target the offer at the ASTAG charge community and offer its fleets their own community tariff.

To find out how, read Add an agreement.

  5. 5.
Finally, enter your payout details by entering VAT ID number, IBAN and BIC in your company.

This is not required to get started, but without these details Depotcharge cannot pay out your earnings.

To find out how, read Company: enter payout details.

3.Result

Fleets can now accept or request your offer, and once an agreement is active, the fleet's vehicles charge at your site.

4.Note

You can set up the technical connection yourself. If you like, our support team will gladly help you or go through it with you.

If your site does not exist yet, set the status to Planned. Fleets then already see the site on the map and can express their interest, so you can tell early on whether there is demand before you invest.

To find out how to make the site visible to fleets, read Create a site.
